How do I install Colmena in HubSpot?

Go to the HubSpot Marketplace, search for "Colmena", and click Install. You'll be redirected to authorize the app via OAuth. Once authorized, Colmena will appear as a sidebar card on your Deal and Contact records.

Which HubSpot plans are compatible?

Colmena works with HubSpot Sales Hub Starter, Professional, and Enterprise. It requires a HubSpot account with CRM access.

What signal types are available?

All plans include 6 core signal types: Urgency, Competitor, Budget, Champion, Objection, and Risk. The Scale plan unlocks 6 additional advanced types: Pricing Negotiation, Executive Sponsor, Technical Fit, Procurement Blocker, Renewal Risk, and Stakeholder Change.

How does the Hive Score work?

The Hive Score is an AI-powered deal health indicator (0–100) that analyzes signal patterns across your team. Deals with more recent, high-intensity positive signals score higher. It updates automatically as new signals are logged.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your Colmena subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees.

Is my HubSpot data safe?

Yes. Colmena only reads the Deal or Contact ID and your portal ID — we never access your full CRM data, pipelines, or contact lists. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How does billing work?

Colmena is billed monthly via Stripe. You'll be charged on the same date each month. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Invoices are sent automatically to your billing email.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

If you approach your signal limit, you'll receive an email notification. We won't cut off your access mid-month — instead, we'll invite you to upgrade to the next plan.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Visit trycolmena.com/pricing and click on the plan you want. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle.

I installed the app but the sidebar card is not showing. What do I do?

Try these steps: (1) Refresh the HubSpot page. (2) Go to a Deal or Contact record and check the right sidebar. (3) If not visible, click "Customize" on the sidebar and make sure Colmena is enabled. (4) If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app from the Marketplace.
